Accreditation
Alsion Montessori’s Middle School & Early College program, grades 7–12, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Alsion Montessori is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit school. The Accrediting Commission for Schools is one of the three commissions that comprise WASC. WASC is an accrediting body serving schools located in California, Hawaii, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and East Asia. It is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.
The Elementary campus on Driscoll Road, which opened in 2026, is not currently accredited by WASC.
The accreditation
Alsion is a member of the College Board, and all high school courses offered on campus are approved for transfer by the University of California.
Ohlone College
Ohlone College, where Alsion Early College High School students take most of their classes, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, a commission belonging to WASC.
