History and Spanish Teacher
Elena Michel is a California native who earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies at California State East Bay. With a well rounded educational background, Elena is confident in furthering her knowledge in various subjects, such as History and Spanish. As a Mexican-American, she values honoring one’s culture and being lifelong learners of the diversity around us.
She started out as an Assistant Teacher at a Montessori Elementary School in the Bay Area and continued to serve as an educator for preschool through fifth grade for over five years now. Elena is passionate about the holistic development of each student and values honing love for academic, and social-emotional growth.
Outside of Alsion, you can find Elena outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and reading books.
